Crugo has released its new Audio and Video calling feature for Individuals to utilise. Currently, our new feature will only work on a 1-2-1 basis within direct conversations. We will be expanding this to group calls, where you will be able to group call up to 4 people at any given time. This will be available very very soon!

How do I Video call a team member?

  1. On desktop or Mac application you will need to click direct individual that you would like to call. Once selected you will need to locate the Video call button, which is situated in the top right-hand corner. 

2. Once you have selected the video call button, you will have a new screen appear that states you are calling that individual. 

3. To accept the call, the receiver of the call will need to press the "Green" answer button. 

4. Once accepted you will now be in the video call. 

5. We have 5 different options in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen. 

The first option is the video button. Clicking this button will hide/un-hide your video camera. 

The second option will mute your microphone so that the other users cannot hear you. 

The third option will give you video settings guide, in which you can change the camera you utilise. 

The fourth option is the end call button. 

The final option will allow you to minimise your screen so you can continue to work whilst you are still on video chat. 


For IOS and Android devices, the protocol is slightly different. 

  1. Step 1 is the same where you will need to click on the direct individual you would like to call and locate the video call button. 

2. The receiver will have a notification on their phone to let them know that someone is calling them.

3. To answer the call, you will need to manually go into your Crugo application and accept by pressing the "green" answer button. 

4. You will now be on the video call with that individual. 

5. On mobile devices, you will have 3 options to work with.

1st option will be to mute your microphone.
2nd option will be to hide your camera
The 3rd option will be to end the call.
