The Crugo network runs on a private cloud which is owned and maintained solely by Crugo. The Crugo cloud is hosted in a Tier 4, ISO 27001 certified datacentre located in the United Kingdom.

The Crugo Cloud comprises of enterprise grade Dell and Cisco hardware. All the Crugo servers run super-fast Solid State Drives “SSD” in aRAID 5 configuration for optimal performance and redundancy. Each server also has dual power supply units “PSU” for added redundancy.

When downloading content on the Crugo platform, all files are streamed from the cloud storage provider through the Crugo private cloud which authenticates each users request then passes the stream onto the end user if they have the correct authentication level. This means files are kept secure and will not be visible to users outside of your Crugo network, even if a direct link is shared.

The Crugo stack uses some of the latest technologies such as, Node.js, MongoDB, Redis, ElasticSearch and Socket.io amongst others. All communication between the Crugo network and a client accessing Crugo is done through a secure 256 bit SSLencrypted connection with certified SHA-2 certificates.

Crugo is a UK based business and our platform is hosted entirely in the UK on our own servers, making it compliant with GDPR legislation and European Privacy Laws

Crugo is actively developed and maintained by our own in-house development team operating from our office in Cheltenham in the United Kingdom.
